Creating Your Account When you create your account you will be sent an email which includes a link. You will need to click this link to activate your account. Note: If you don't receive an email in a few minutes of registering please check your junk email as it can sometimes go there.
How to Order Offline Orders: Print and fill out our Offline Orders Form, then fax or mail it to us with your payment option.
Online Orders: Placing an order is easy, just follow the steps below and you'll be an expert in no time.1. Find the product you want to purchase by either searching for it or using the categories to browse through. 2. Click on the title to view the product detail page or the image to view a larger image of the product. 3. Below the product there is an "Add toCart" button. Click this to place the item in your shopping cart. You will automatically be transferred to the shopping cart contents page. 4. Now click the blue "Checkout" button underneath your list of items. 5. If this is your first order, you will have to create an account so just fill in the relevant information. Returning customers can log in here. 6. Next you will be able to verify your shipping address and billing information, or update it.
7. Click Continue and follow the instructions on screen to choose your postage method. CAUTION: Not all postage methods are available to all customers. Make sure you select the one that is relevant to your account status.
8. On the next page you can select the method of payment you want to use. Once selected press next.
9. This is your last chance to make sure your items are correct before the order is finalised. Once you are happy with your order, click the "Confirm Order" button and your order will be submitted for processing. You will receive an order confirmation email and the order will be listed under Account Maintenance. GST (Goods and Services Tax) All prices include GST where applicable.
Returns You may return books/products that remain in mint condition within one week. Please note that it is our policy not to give cash refunds, but will issue gift vouchers or store credit. CDs and DVDs can only be returned if they are faulty and they will be replaced with the exact same item. The original postage/packing charges will be deducted from the refund voucher unless the reason for return is due to our error.
Payment by Cheque We happily accept cheques as a means of payment. However please be aware that books will not be despatched until cheques have been received and cleared which may take several days. Your cheque for the total amount of your order (including postage) should be made payable to East Gippsland Bookstore and sent to:

PayMate You can use PayMate to pay for your order online with your credit card. Once you have confirmed your order click on the Pay Now with PayMate button to open the PayMate website. Here you will be asked for the order number, which can be found by clicking on the View Order Details on the payment confirmation page. It is located at the top of the Invioce. Once you have filled out the form, click next. If you haven't registered with PayMate you will be required to do so here. When you have finished click on the next button. The next page is where you have to make your payment. Enter the payment details and then click submit.
PayPal
We can accept payment from the secure paypal service. When you are asked to select payment method, select paypal and you will be transfered to the paypal website where you can login or create a new account.
Cancelling Orders If it is necessary to cancel an order, you can do so as long as it is prior to receiving our notification that the order has been despatched.
Availability Because we sell items through the shop as well, the availability might not be correct at the time of online orders. To see if an item is available give us a call! Our phone number is (03) 5152 4086, and if you call during business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm, Sat 9-12.30PM, EST) we can check the shelves while we have you on the line. Alternatively you can Contact Us and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Any orders that cannot be filled will recieve notification via email, and the orders placed on backorder.
Privacy Policy We keep all personal information submitted to us private. We do not rent or sell your name, address, credit card information or personal information to any third party.
